πŸ‘‹Hey there - the answer is YES. YES, we are still open and here for your pets (and their people) πŸΆπŸ±πŸΉπŸ°πŸ™Œ. We just wanted to let you know about some of things we are doing to keep you and our team safe. Here goes:

πŸ‘‰When you arrive at the Pakenham clinic, please call us on 59 413 822 or the Officer clinic on 59 427 925 and let us know that you are here. Please wait in your car until the vet is ready to see your pet πŸš—πŸ‘Œ

πŸ‘‰We will then ask you to meet our nurse at the front door where we will place a slip lead on your dog and ask you to take your lead back with you to your car

πŸ‘‰Cats or pocket pets will be handed over in their carrier

πŸ‘‰Our vet will then call you and consult with you over the phone. We will then meet you at the side door to hand your pet back and we will take payment over the phone

πŸ‘‰For those needing to collect food or medication, please call the clinic to pre-order and make payment. When you arrive at the clinic, please call and let us know you are here and we will place the items on the table in the Hydrobath room (entry on west side of building) for you to collect

Thanks so much for your cooperation with all of this. We understand these are big changes and will take some getting used to however we are putting the safety of our staff, their families, our clients and their families first. We can do this if we work together πŸΆπŸ’žπŸ±

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

With the recent announcement from the Government regarding the possible closure of β€œnon-essential” services due to the COVID-19 virus, we would like to let our clients know that we are doing our best to keep both our clients and our staff safe during these worrying times.

Although we are trying to operate β€œbusiness as usual” there will be some changes and protocols put in place to ensure we are here for you and your pets. We are currently unclear if the veterinary industry is classified as a non-essential service, but we endeavor to try and keep you all up to date with changes if and when they happen.

We know that there will be some clients out there who will be worried about getting food and medications for their pets, if this is the case, we recommend ordering any essential supplies by 3pm tomorrow afternoon.
You can call the clinic from 8am tomorrow morning, or you can send an email to info@theanimaldoctors.com.au tonight. Please make sure you include your pets name, your full name, contact telephone number, which items you would like us to order and its quantity. Though all deliveries are not guaranteed, we endeavor to fulfill them to the best of our ability.

Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support and assistance and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regards the team at The Animal Doctors.
